With decades of experience in education, Barbara Wagner has been a leader in shaping learning environments that empower students. As the former Head of Marlborough School, a college-preparatory institution for girls, she implemented programs that strengthened leadership, STEM education, and confidence-building. Her work has focused on preparing young women to become critical thinkers, problem solvers, and changemakers in their communities.
Barbara is passionate about Whole-Bodied Education and its ability to foster academic achievement alongside personal development. She believes in the transformative role that educators play in shaping students’ futures and is committed to supporting initiatives that create equitable, dynamic, and engaging learning experiences.
I believe GALS Inc. is empowering each young woman in the schools to become the best person and student she can become. The expertise of the teachers and the role-modeling/mentoring they provide is awe-inspiring. The emphasis on Whole-Bodied Education in which the mind and body are integrated is impressive.
